Demand for seats at Saturday’s 2026 WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago is running well ahead of last year, with secondary market data pointing squarely at the return of Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark as the driving force. Clark, who sat out the 2025 edition with a groin injury, is back and named as captain of Team Weatherspoon for the game at the United Center.

According to ticketing platform SeatGeek, the average sale price over the past seven days has reached $425 — roughly 35% higher than at the equivalent point before the 2025 game. The cheapest entry available stands at $185, and total order volume has already surpassed the full 2025 game figure by around 21%, with approximately 24 hours still to go before tip-off.

Prices and Demand by the Numbers

SeatGeek’s senior content analyst Max Meyer framed the value proposition plainly: a sub-$200 ticket puts fans in the same arena as Clark, A’ja Wilson, and Paige Bueckers, which he described as among the best value propositions in sport given the concentration of star power at an accessible price point.

The geographic spread of buyers reflects national interest. Fans with Illinois billing addresses account for 22% of orders placed in the past week — the largest share of any state, unsurprisingly given the Chicago venue. Indiana, Texas, and Maryland also rank among the top four states by order volume on the platform.

For premium seats, 100-level options have been listed from around $588 including fees on SeatGeek, according to reporting by the New York Post.

What the Game Looks Like on Paper

The United Center, home to the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and NHL’s Blackhawks, has a capacity exceeding 23,000 — more than twice the size of Wintrust Arena, which hosted the All-Star Game when Chicago last held the event in 2022. It marks only the second time the city has staged All-Star Weekend, and the first time the main game has taken place at the United Center.

Clark is currently averaging 21 points and close to eight assists per game in the regular season. The Fever sit top of the Eastern Conference at 17-10.

Bueckers enters the weekend as the leading vote-getter among fans. Wilson, Stewart, and Angel Reese are also on the roster, making for a weekend that brings together the bulk of the league’s biggest names.

Betting Lines Favour Team Weatherspoon

At DraftKings Sportsbook, Team Weatherspoon — Clark’s side — is listed as a 3.5-point favourite at -170 on the moneyline against Team Cooper. Clark is the favourite to lead all scorers at +170, with Wilson next at +425 and Bueckers at +450.

Team uniforms follow a throwback theme: Team Cooper in WNBA red and Team Weatherspoon in WNBA blue, both drawing on the league’s original 1997 colour palette as the WNBA marks its 30th anniversary season.

All-Star Weekend Schedule

The weekend’s full programme runs across three days. A fan festival called WNBA Live ran from Thursday through Saturday at McCormick Place. Friday’s Skills Night at Wintrust Arena featured the Shooting Stars event and the three-point contest. The All-Star Game itself tips off Saturday evening at the United Center.

The league also held media availability and practice sessions at the Obama Presidential Center, which opened in June.
